On March 27, 2024, Doctor of History Simeon Hinkovski presented the Main University Building of Sofia University to representatives from the University of Pedagogy in Nara, Japan. Fourth-year students and 
a graduate from the “Japanese Studies” department, who is currently studying at the University in Nara, Yoanna Dokova, also participated in the tour with translation. The entire group visited the Building’s Hall, the Paleontology Museum, the University Museum, and the University Library.
On March 28, both representatives, along with other students and friends of Japanese studies, visited the National Gallery “Square 500”.
On the last third day, the Japanese studies students showcased their club activities to the guests.
