On June 27, 2023, during the final conference of Erasmus+ UniverCity initiative, covering 36 months of small grant projects, with participation from Bulgaria, Romania and Italy, 4 projects were awarded. One of them is Japanese Studies Department action Transfer of Japanese culture in Draginovo, headed by researcher Lyudmila Kirilova, PhD.
The team’s efforts were recognized by an international jury, in competition with dozens of other projects from all participating countries.
